Job Description
Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional mid-level associate attorney in its Trusts & Estates group in Seattle.
Ideal candidates will have experience in the following areas: estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and related trust administration; planning and administering taxable estates; preparation of federal estate tax returns; business succession planning; charitable planning; and the ability to understand and implement complex tax strategies. Candidates should have at least two to four years of experience in the practice at a boutique law firm or within a group at a larger law firm, with excellent academic credentials and writing skills. An L.L.M. degree in taxation is preferred.

The annualized salary range for this position in Washington State is $225,000 to $290,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year. Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, and it may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the firm. Additional voluntary benefits programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long term care, and pet insurance. Commuter and Transit programs are also available.
