Food & Beverage/Agricultural M&A Associate - Junior to Mid-Level - Portland
Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks an exceptional junior- or mid-level associate attorney to support and work with the leaders of its nationally-recognized food & beverage and agricultural industry business transactions practices based out of beautiful Portland, Oregon. The forward-thinking and mission-based groups represent the interests of large agricultural clients, prominent wineries, and nationally-known, leading, emerging, and mature companies in significant transactions. Candidates for this role should bring a foundation of experience in mergers and acquisitions as well as real estate experience and industry focus.
Ideal candidates will have experience in: (i) asset based mergers and acquisitions, (ii) acquisition and disposition of real estate with a focus on agricultural properties, (iii) handling the ongoing needs and work flow of a variety of high-growth clients in different stages of development, and (iv) working in deal teams and executing complex transactions. We are seeking a highly capable, driven lawyer with the desire to practice with and enhance an entrepreneurial team. Experience with water rights, reviewing title and survey, and leasing are beneficial as well. Candidates must have at least two years of experience, excellent academic credentials, writing skills, and references. While the partners leading these industry groups reside in Portland - a vibrant city with easy commutes and high quality of life - we will also consider candidates in Seattle.
