The Financial Services Practice of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has an exciting opportunity for a mid-level associate attorney with at least four years’ experience in commercial, securities, and/or financial services litigation to join the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group in New York City.  

The ideal candidate will have taken on significant responsibility in the litigation of commercial disputes in federal and state court and/or arbitral forums, including drafting pleadings, brief writing, motion practice, handling discovery and the day-to-day management of cases.  Outstanding advocacy and communication skills, oral and written, are required;  Experience with securities litigation, arbitration and/or or enforcement matters is preferred.  Applicants from government agencies are encouraged.  To be considered, you must be a member the New York state bar.

The annualized salary range for this position in New York City is $225,000 to $290,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, and pet insurance.
