The San Francisco office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks to hire a counsel-level attorney with a minimum of eight years’ experience to join its growing California and national employment law practice. The ideal candidate will have counseling and employment litigation experience and a broad understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations. Preferably, the candidate should have a majority of experience in an employment practice group or employment-only law firm. The attorney’s practice will involve experience litigating single plaintiff and class action matters as well as providing advice and counseling to clients concerning employment law issues. Counseling will include providing advice, drafting policies, handbooks, employment agreements, wage-hour, leave of absences, investigations, etc. For more experienced attorneys interested in this position, a book of business is not required.
The candidate must be a member or pending member of the California State Bar. This is a great opportunity for a confident, self-motivated person with a desire to build a comprehensive employment practice in a collegial environment.
We are relentlessly committed to client service and look for candidates who share that commitment. At DWT, client service means having empathy for each client’s and each lawyer’s work and personal pressures, business objectives, and legal needs; anticipating their needs; and having the capabilities and commitment to deliver what matters most to them.
To apply, please upload a cover letter addressed to Bahareh Samanian, Director of Lawyer Recruiting, resume, a copy of your law transcript, and a brief writing sample.
