Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks a midlevel associate attorney to join its Business and Tax practice group. We are open to applicants in the markets above. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in debt finance transactions, including one or more of the following: syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, dividend recapitalizations and asset-based loans. The ideal candidate will be familiar with secured loan documentation and Article 9 of the UCC. 

 

Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and transactional skills. We prefer candidates with law firm experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong client-service ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills. Candidates must have an active, in good standing, state bar license, excellent writing and drafting skills, high level of attention to detail, track record of responsiveness, strong client relationship skills, and be a team player.

The annualized salary range for this position in California, New York and Washington is $205,000 to $325,000.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate’s education, training, experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.  Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program.  For full-time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year.  Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, and it may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the firm.  Additional voluntary benefits programs include: voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, and pet insurance.  Commuter and Transit programs are also available.
