Job Description

Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a client program specialist for engagement through the firm’s contract attorney and alternative staffing program, DWTSurge. This contract position will work with the Firm’s litigation practice group to help support a high-volume of litigation cases, including small claims and arbitrations, for large institutional DWT clients. Candidates may expect to assist with direct communication with plaintiffs, fact investigations, responding to demand letters, and preparing for settlement conferences, arbitrations, and court appearances. Candidates will also be expected to travel to and appear in court for small claims cases on behalf of DWT clients on a frequent basis.

  • Strong desire to learn the legal support skills necessary to perform the role.
  • Previous public speaking experience is preferred.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology, software programs, and upgrades.
  • Ability and willingness to communicate and handle stressful situations in a professional, calm, courteous manner.
  • Availability to work full-time hours on an on-going basis. Willingness to work overtime hours as needed or requested.
  • Ability to work remotely when not traveling for a court appearance or assignment.
  • Excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to produce high quality work product with minimal supervision and direction.
