Job Description

* Residency and active bar admission in WA and/or CA is preferred.
* Demonstrated success performing legal research, reviewing and analyzing coverage issues based on state and federal law.
* Familiarity working on high-impact strategic complex litigation and providing legal coverage advice on claims involving commercial policies.
* Strong motions drafting skills and experience.
* Availability to work full-time hours on an on-going basis.
* Ability to work remotely, support west coast hours, and attend in-office meetings in the WA or CA offices when needed.
* Excellent writing skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to produce high quality work product with minimal supervision and direction.

Please note that this is a temporary contract position managed by DWT’s flexible attorney program, DWTSurge. Compensation will be paid on an hourly basis, commensurate with experience and skill level (see below). Due to the structure of the DWTSurge program, DWTSurge employees are not eligible for the firm’s pro bono, DEI, and other activities or opportunities outside of the above stated scope of work.
