Davis Wright Tremaine is looking for an experienced patent professional to manage a team of 15+ employees in our Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, or San Francisco office. On a daily basis you will provide supervision and support to non-paralegal patent staff firm wide. Do you welcome challenges and take a proactive approach to problem solving? This position will utilize your time and budget management skills to ensure your team meets the needs of the firm by producing high quality work while providing exceptional customer service. Day-to-day, you will implement improvement plans, monitor productivity, mentor staff, and partner with the Senior Manager of IP Operations and Paralegals.

 

You’ll bring your managerial and problem-solving skills to contribute to our positive working environment and invest in the success of individuals while managing a complex and challenging workflow. DWT values strong interpersonal and customer service skills as you will interact with persons at all levels of the organization. Knowledge of patent prosecution processes and rules is imperative, and a paralegal certification is a plus!
