The Los Angeles office of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP has an exciting opportunity for a junior to mid-level associate to join its nationally recognized media practice. We litigate First Amendment, IP, and freedom of information cases for media organizations, journalists, artists, and other content providers, and provide a wide range of prebroadcast and prepublication review and counseling services. A background in media, IP, or First Amendment law is helpful but not required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ litigation experience (or a combination of clerkship and law firm experience), and former law clerks are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates must be active members of the California Bar in good standing, and possess strong writing skills.
