Davis Wright Tremaine LLP seeks to hire an Of Counsel with a minimum of 15 years’ employment experience to join its California and national employment law practice. The ideal candidate will have substantial advice and counseling experience, employment litigation experience, and a broad understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations. Preferably, the candidate will have a majority of experience in an employment practice group or employment-only law firm. The practice will focus on providing advice and counseling to clients concerning employment law issues and dispute resolution, including advising concerning potential exposure in single plaintiff and class action litigation, and mediating this matters. Counseling will include providing advice, drafting policies, handbooks, employment agreements, wage-hour, deal support, leave of absences, restrictive covenants, investigations, etc. A book of business is not required.

The candidate must be a member or pending member of the California State Bar. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, self-motivated lawyer with a desire to build a comprehensive employment practice in a collegial environment. This position can be based out of the Los Angeles or San Francisco office.
