Job Description

The Banking Financial Services Practice Group has an exciting opportunity for an associate attorney with a minimum of three years’ experience working on regulatory matters to join its market-leading team. Our clients are defining the future of financial services.

The ideal candidate will have experience with core banking and consumer financial regulations, including fair lending and unfair, deceptive, or abusive acts or practices laws/regulations. Experience with money transmitter, licensed lending, Bank Secrecy Act, Anti Money Laundering, The Office of Foreign Assets Control, bank partnerships, and other regulations including Regulation Z and privacy-related regulations, are pluses. Experience with payments (both traditional payment products and emerging platforms/FinTech) is also a plus. Transactional experience is not required but valuable.  

Outstanding communication skills, oral and written, are required. Prior law firm experience is beneficial but not required. To be considered, you must be a member of the California bar in good standing.
